A/W 19

Each team had to create a Menswear collection for A/W 2019, encapsulating NEXT's brand ethos and design style. As a team, we chose to design for two different muses creating woven, printed and knitted textiles to form a casual and a more tailored collection.

APPOSING SURFACES

An innovative menswear collection taking inspiration from contrasting surfaces, patterns, textures and colours within the urban environment. Traditional check designs are made fresh and contemporary through the exploration of woven techniques and processes. Bold accent colours, clashing textures and repeat patterns are used to give the collection a modern and graphic feel.

MODERNIST PRESTIGE

Modernist Prestige draws inspiration from a range of linear and architectural elements found within the city. A sleek palette sets a mood throughout whilst the use of checks and stripes bring tonality and subtle colour infusions forming a collection with a clean aesthetic and contemporary feel.
